Lost and unwanted

((BTW this is my last post for an hour or so.))

Stelaria kept running and running for hours on end till she finally stopped at a bright and sunny meadow. It looked like heaven, but her heart was broken and even this beautiful land couldn't cheer her up. Arduro run up behind her and gasped for breath. "Please stop momma, I can't run any furthur." Stel only nodded and walked over to a hill. She stood there and just stared out on the horizon. Ardy was worried, his mother never just stood there.

Bosch walked into the herd lands but he saw a shape in the distance. Upon a closer inspection, he saw that there was a foal nearby. Guessing that it was Stel, Bosch muttered to himself and turned to leave.

(I won't be on for a couple of hours too and tommorow is my last day for a month.)

Stel turned to look at Bosch but only turned away again. She didn't speak nor move, she just stood there.

Bosch slightly turned his head to look at Stelaria. he quietly walked behind some hills untill he was out of her sight,

Stel saw Bosch move away in her peripheral vision. Sighing she turned to Arduro and walked towards him. "I'm sorry about the way I've been acting recently. We don't need a stallion, it will be fun with just you and me." Ardy smiled and nudged his mom when she seemed to be normal again.

Bosch suddenly galloped up to the hill where Stelarian and Arduro stood "Are there any mares here besides you?" he asked boldly.

Stel looked at Bosch and then turned her head, nodding to a nearby hill. "Two very fine arabians." She then walked off in a nonchalant way.

Bosch turned away from Stelaria and trotted over to the hill were the Arabian were.

Stel watched him but just turned her back on him. "Come Arduro let us go somewhere where it is not overrun by vermin." Loud enough for Bosch to hear.

"I wouldn't be that hasrsh on yourself Stelaria." replied Bosch laughing while still walking away.

(I'll actually have some internet but it's slow and I won't be on everyday)

Stelaria glared at Bosch. "I'm not being harsh on MYSELF, you fool." She then cantered away to the far edge of the bachlorette herd, with Arduro behind her.

Bosch laughed and trotted off to the bachelor herds.

Diss flew in agnrily and landed on a small hill. She began to tear at the grass rather than eat it.

Stelaria heard the mare angrily destroying the wonderful grass here. "Arduro stay close to me." The gray colt nodded and did just has his mother said. Then Stel walked up to Diss and cleared her throat. "Excuse me, is something the matter?"

Diss looked up and sighed. "Stallions are a pain. They don't listen to you, they don't care about you, they just go off playing soldier!"

Stelaria nodded. "My father was a military man, I know what you mean. But they're only trying to protect us." Arduro had fallen asleep under the nearest tree so Stel had time to talk. "I'm having a bit of stallion trouble myself. He seems to enjoy being around Arduro and I, but when I asked him if he wanted to be my mate he only said that he didn't stay in one place for too long. Then when I suggested that we find a home and when feels the need to leave he can. Then after a few days he can come back. Well then he just said that if we did that and he left, he wouldn't come back." She was getting angry all over again about the matter as she spoke. "If he actually cared about me then he would come back to me." Then she forced a smile. "As you can tell it didn't go so well." It felt good to be able to talk to this mare about her problems and she vowed to listen to her problems as well.

"Maybe he actually does like you but he has some secret from you." Diss suggested. "But I don't really care what happens to stallions anymore. You just have to move on with your life as I learned."

Stelaria agreed with the mare, showing this by tossing her head and neighing. "Stallions are nothing but trouble. I can raise Arduro by myself and make sure he doesn't grow up to be like that."

Diss glanced at Arduro. "What happened to the father?"

Stelaria sighed at the memory of that day. "He left. We had all gone to sleep and everything seemed fine. When me and Arduro woke up, Sweet Pea was gone." A tear fell down Stel's cheek as she spoke but nothing else changed about her to show any expression. "What about you? Any stallion break your heart?"

Diss slightly smiled. "I've been lucky. I break their hearts."

Stelaria chuckled at Diss's comment. "I'm sure they appreciate that."

Diss smiled. "I didn't happen to catch your name. I'm Distinwin but you can call me Diss.

"I'm Stelaria but you can call me Stel. And that rambunctious colt is my son Arduro, I always call him Ardy although he doesn't like it when I saw that around his friends." She chuckled and rolled her eyes.

Diss glanced at Adruro. "He just wants to look like a stallion, not a foal around his friends. But something tells me that you move a lot..."
